WEEK 2: RAMS 48 RAIDERS 28

After a week 1 loss to the Cardinals. The Rams get their groove back against the Raiders. 1st quarter ends with the score tied RAMS 7 RAIDERS 7.....Rams score on a 1 yard plunge from Rashard Mendenhall, the Raiders counter with a 11 yard Troy Smith to Miles Austin hookup.

2nd Quarter is all Rams. They get 3 TD's. Another 1 yard Mendenhall, plunge. A 1 yard dive from Jerious Norwood and a 3 yard TD pass Peyton Manning to Randy Moss. The Raiders do hit paydirt with a 2 yard TD pass Troy Smith to Wes Welker......RAMS 31 RAIDERS 14 at the half.

The Rams also own the 3rd stanza. Peyton Manning finds Vincent Jackson on a 34 yard scoring play to increase the Rams lead to RAMS 38 RAIDERS 14.....Raiders put together a nice drive and are knocking on the Rams door from the 4 yardline. From there Smith drops back to pass but the Rams Rashean Mathis steps in front of the pass and picks it off, 96 yards later, it's RAMS 45 RAIDERS 14 at the end of the 3rd quarter

Rams try to kill the clock in the 4th quarter. They only can muster up an FG while the Raiders get 2 touchdowns from Devin Hester.......FINAL SCORE RAMS 48 RAIDERS 28

I duno what it is with me.. but 2nd half I tend to choke BAD!!
First Half can usually hold my own then 3rd quarter I crumble
like a stale cookie.

It happens to the best of us.

I know that feeling Runner. Somehow I've avoided it this season in this league though!
