Vick Interview

After the 34-17 win Vs. The Chargers ESPN reporter Sammy Smee finally got to interview Quarterback Mike Vick and get the real story of why he was suspended. Heres what Vick had to say....
Sammy: I saw a post from your week 3 opponant basically laughing about the game you two had... What happend behind the scenes?
Vick: Well Sammy what happend was I was trying to run out the clock against the Raiders because I basically got off that game and we werent trying to run up any scores because thats against the Elite league rules and basically just baad for business.... It was the fourth quarter we were up big when the raiders called a timeout on 3rd and 14!
Honestly I was like "are these guys serious"?
I called a audible into a simple slant route and Olsen went for 73 yards to the house.
After the game my owner messaged the person he thought ran the league but obviously he was messaging the wrong person because the next thing he knew he got a message from the commisioner who was completly disgruntled and I believe he was told "Vicks benched for the game and the next rule infraction will get him booted out of the league" our owner argued his point of why he threw the ball and expressed how he felt it was unjust...
If someones losing but still calling Timeouts obviously there still trying to win right?
Our owner was told he (the commisioner) doesnt care if the opponent called three timeouts, if your up run the ball and that he (the owner) should consider himself warned and the conversation was over....
Sammy: Damn for real?
Vick: yah for real, just like that!
Sammy: that sounds like your one of his kids getting punished....
Vick: I know right thats what we were thinking...
Sammy: so do you have anything to say to your owner?
Vick: Our performance says everything, we have always considerd ourselves Elite so we feel were in the right league, my owners coolin off a bit He just says wouldnt no dude talk to him like that face to face...

When the seasons over and were one of the teams with a good record we would except a formal apology for the complete lack of RESPECT!

Vick: yep!

in respect to the timeout being called the attempt was even tho losing that to play as if I could win but the main intention was the attempt to stop you on 3rd down to force a punt and possibly although unlikely with how the offense was performing in the second half but to claim a few more points to save at least some dignity to the a*sswhoopin the team was receiving in the 2nd half.

Do I put it against him for throwing that slant absolutely not although he was in his end of the field and up by a large margin which pretty much made a come back near impossible, I should have called a better defense because many times in the NFL do you see teams up go for it on 3rd and long to pick up the first down so they can run out the clock.

Well Tomern all the suspension did was hurt the stats, im still undefeated and maybe ill see you in the playoffs then you can see first hand how I play, I think im a very good sport

I have no objections to the sportsmanship of your play. I played one minded and it burnt me late is all.. BUT after my last game my game has improved so I hope we meet again and maybe this time I wont get my arse handed to me on a silver platter lol

Broski Ive played some people that make me never wanna even look at Madden again but thats the thing about it, If no one can beat you it wouldnt be fun... Im glad we can at least bullshit and talk crap in this league without people getn hurt. Its all in fun...The thing is tho I havent even pulled out the "A" game yet because of my D so when we meet again remind me and Ill give it to you RAW and UNCUT

Wouldn't expect anything less then your "A" game.. however the raw and uncut version still doesn't compare to the extended version that I'll be bringing to your D next time we meet!! Your D will be begging for the "uncut and raw" version of my Offense
