Bears VS Packers

I have a question for the commissioner.

During the game against Manidifata2 ( Packers owner), He accused me of cheating.
His reason is because I was changing the defensive line assignment without moving them. For example: Taking the DT and sending him in a zone without moving him.
In the league rules, nowhere does it mention that you can not do that.
Through out the hole game i was obligated to play by his rules.
I could not re-assign my players but he was doing it with his corners.
I do not want to start complaining but I would like to know if we are allowed to do this.

hey man just to let you now mani is one of the commisioners. You can do line shifts from the pad on the controller but not manually. So pretty much as long as you dont move the d players manually you are fine.

I'm pretty sure you can reassign d-line players into zone, man, etc. As long as you aren't reassigning players for nano-blitzing or something.

In the NFL somesstimes you will see a DE drop into a Flat one, or in the dollar Package there is also a defense that puts the DT as a spy and I use that a lot especially against people that use scrambling QB's like Vick

from my understanding of the rules.. and correct me if I am wrong...

You can pretty much be in control of any player you choose but are not allowed to manually move then "pre-snap".

My understanding are perceived through the following examples..

GOOD - Controlling player of your choosing and when ball is snapped run them to Timbuktu if you wish.

BAD - Controlling player and before ball is snapped running them to Timbuktu. Eg. Controlling DT or LE/RE and before snap manually dropping him back to say line up with your linebackers.

But you could still reassign them to zone coverage without moving them.

Yah it says in the rule book that as long as you dont manually move them and use the D pas its ok
