Re: SALARY CAP
k so a 93-99 is a six year contract that means in less they get traded or relesed they are on your team for six years now how about if i have peyton and in the offseason he goes down to a 92 does that mean he would go down to a 5 year contract how do we keep track of that just wondering also how does free agency bidding work is it on every player or how does that work

Ras don't worry. We are linking the league to the xfn site, and when will come back to the league manager, where you can track everything. If a player goes down with his overall, automatically, you wil see how is value in term of salary will decrease...and you will always track how much cap you have in your team.
I have experienced this in another league, ad work perfectly.

Re: SALARY CAP
why dont we set up an account at www.myleaguemanager.net
it has an option to set up a salary cap and its much easier to see who is under/over cap
everything is fixed and players are given a number based on there skill level you can then set the cap at whatever you want.
check it out and let me know what u think

Re: SALARY CAP
OK...bear with me I'm new at this salary cap stuff. So I see on LEAGUEMANAGER my "contract year players".....I'm under the cap at the moment, can I re-sign some those players now? (I'm guessing not because I see no way to do it) I take it you have to wait until the end of the year?......thanks

Re: SALARY CAP
ok since I couldnt log in i used the given login and
curious to the cap and resigning...
when i go to my team it lists
Raiders (total cap hit:699 / 750) (free space:51)
750? thought our cap was 250?
also how do we resign players or do we have to wait till end of season before we can
resign players?

Re: SALARY CAP

hi thanks for the question.
The cap is 750 points. (instead of the 250 system we thought of using).
you can sign free agents during the season as long as you are under cap.
After the draft we will have a bidding period for free agents finishing a contract. that will be done on the LM site. Alex and I will explain as the draft comes along.
